I emailed them on 4/1/15 asking how to cancel my account because I couldn't find a link on their website. I emailed them again on 4/3/15 asking again. I finally found a link on their website on 4/8/15 and clicked to cancel my account. That got their attention because I got an email from Nicole on 4/9/15 trying to convince me not to cancel. I replied on 4/9/15 and said I wasn't on the fence about it and I wanted to cancel. On 4/10/15 I received an email from Lindsey stating that my account was cancelled. On 4/25/15 I received an email about a SFBC sale. On 4/25/15 I "replied" to Lindsey's email asking her to confirm my account was closed. On 4/27/15 I received an email from Matt saying my account was cancelled and that the continued emails were a result of a "timing issue" and that they would stop shortly. On 5/2/15 I received another marketing email. On 5/4/15 I received yet another marketing email. On 5/6/15...surprise, surprise!...another marketing email arrived in my inbox. On 5/6/15 I called the customer support number and was on hold for 45 minutes before a live person answered the phone. The rep asked for my account number and seemed put out when I told him I didn't know it because I had CANCELLED my account (duh!). He told me emails are "pre-generated" about 2 weeks in advance and nothing can be done about it. Well, 27 days is longer than 2 weeks...so I don't accept that as a valid excuse. He then asked for my email address and looked up my (cancelled) account. He said he was changing the email address and that it would stop me from getting emails. I asked him how that would help if emails were "pre-generated" 2 weeks ahead of time and he said "the system" would get the information immediately. I asked him why it wasn't possible for "the system" to get the message that the account was cancelled if that were true. He did not have an answer for me. Two days later, on 5/8/15, I received yet another marketing email. It has now been 28 days since my account was officially cancelled...twice as long as that 2 week period I was told about. And in May alone, I have received a marketing email EVERY TWO DAYS!
