I received a a check for $1527.00 from Consumer Research, Inc. I gave a breakdown of how I was to spend it:

Participation pay - 300.00; Western Union Evaluation Assignment - 987.00; service fee charged by Western Union - 90.00; retail shop evaluation assignment (I keep purchased goods) - 150.00 which totaled $1527.00. I started to cash at a money exchange after calling 1-818-666-8948 for further clarification or if I didnt understand the offer. The coordinator would instruct me on how to complete and fax my data sheet and all required receipts. This person's name (who sent the letter) is Rachel Newman, V.P. Operations, Consumer Research Department. The address was listed at 28 West 44th Street, NY, NY 10036 but once I deposited the check, I received a call from my bank the next day. The gentleman asked my name and where did I get the check. I faxed everything over to him. When I deposited the check, I had about 73.00 in the bank pending a 30.00 order. They gave me 140.00 at the bank and said the balance would probably be available the next day. I am so happy that I didn't take it elsewhere because I would be in a whole lot of trouble but my account is now in the negative because of them giving me money and taking it back from my account that didnt have enough to cover. They also said it was up to me to pay it. As I told them, I do not have that kind of money to just throw away and that's why I decided to wait and deposit in my bank. I wish they would catch these pigs and put them in jail and throw away the key. I am 61 almost 62 years old and I am very very upset. I closed out this account at my recommendation and the bank's but I had to pay the overdraft first which, as I stated, was 98.58. I received a letter, too, from my bank on the 9th but I had already spoken to the office. They gave me a number where the check was supposedly originated from 317-916-7700 and I called but kept getting press this button or that button and then wait but I finally just hung up the phone.
