MacKeeper is as bad as the virus' they claim are on the hard-drive. Of course, when checked with a reliable tool, there are no virus' with the exception of the invasive virus MacKeeper places on the drive through false-pretenses. To date, I have spent a total of 16-hours deleting this software/Malware off client systems at $125/hour for a total of $2,000. The folks at MacKeeper are deceitful, untrustworthy, and play on the fears of unsuspecting users by installing their Malware through hook-and-crook. Some people say the software itself isn't bad but I could never recommend it based on deceitful marketing practices that will eventually catch up to the makers of such Malware.
