The problem is more physical than financial. They are the ONLY Debit card company you can immediately sign up with on the Social Security Website. They are supposed to be helping Sr & Disabled, by accepting direct dep. from SS and then to provide the typical services of a card. In both internet and printed information, this company advertises a bill pay service, very helpful when you live alone and can't get out much. Not only does this service not exist, but since Aug. 2011 the customer service department did not truthfully address this fact, but were instructed to create file tech dept requests which were ignored for 3 months (in promised 48 hr turn around) and when finally responded to the tech left a message implying a completely different problem and closing the file since I was not there to answer the call. I learned the truth only after speaking, at the end of Nov., with a CS supervisor at Dir. Ex. and she had no ability to do anything and no other authority to receive and address this issue.
