I received an e-mail from nomorerack.com when I inquired further I was redirected to dealfun.com. It listed pennyauctions.com, warehouse clearance and a few others. To view anything I had to sign up, name, address, e-mail, choose a username, password, etc. When that was completed they stated I needed to give a credit card number in order to bid on anything. So I put my credit card number in. Next they said I needed to choose from a list of varying amounts I was willing to bid at. I thought it meant I would not want to bid above a specific amount. They guaranteed the service and had several companies listed that are typically used to verify the service as legitimate so I proceeded and choose the box that guaranteed I would win a bid within 24 hours. Then I was allowed to view the policy and use their University to learn more about the service and how to win a bid. At this point I learned that $99.00 had been taken from my bank account and each bid that I would put in cost $0.40. I immediately called my bank. They told me to contact the company. There is no phone number on the site but, there is customer service which guarantees they will answer any e-mails within 15 minutes. I sent an e-mail complaining about the terms and requested my money back. It is nearly 24 hours later and I have not heard back from them. Also, I wrote a second time after 3-1/2 passed and I had not heard from them, asking that they please respond. I have also written twice to nomorerack.com and complained and asked for their assistance in getting my money back. I have not heard from them either. I have since learned that both companies reside in Canada. Also, I read on your website that there is a class action suit against them for scamming people. All I want is my money returned. I have a head/brain injury and live on SSDI. I can not afford to lose $99.00 on what seems to be more of a gambling operation than an auction. I have gone to many auctions and I have never paid to attend or to bid. This is wrong! It is Christmas and now I haven't the money to enjoy a little celebration with my children or grandchildren. I was hoping for a real auction that would allow me to buy gifts at reasonable cost. I didn't get that. I got ripped off and now I am worried if they are going to steal my identity on top of it all. I need someone's help and advise. Please help me. Thank you! If you need further information please send me an e-mail.
