PODS - Storage and Moving

We contracted with PODS to store our household items and move them from Tennessee to Kansas. When we got the units we told them our apt was in the 66212 zip code but we weren't sure where we were purchasing our home. We were told that was not a problem and would not increase the moving fee since their warehouse is not far. We made all of our payments on time (through visa card). When it was time to have our PODS delivered we were given a price of $2785 over the phone by 'William'. The first email quote came through with error reports and before I got a new one I could read they had billed our visa $3549.84 sending us over our limit. I called very upset and was treated very nastily by 'Janette'. She told me 'William' would never have quoted me $2785.00. I had my visa pull back the 849.00 - in a dispute. In speaking with 'Linda' on 11/10/11 I was told I was overcharged and that she would be fixing it. She said she would call me the following week after my last POD had been returned. I aksed if I would be late with the payment and she told me no and not to worry because nothing could be figured out until the account was closed out. Well guess what - no call and a bill for $594.53 arrives with a $25.00 late fee. ( They sent visa bills that are not the same as the ones I have and are certainly not what was quoted by phone! ) This is suppose to be instead of the 849.00 but now visa has returned their 849.00 to them and from the complaints I read I'll never get a refund! I want to warn everyone - DO NOT DO BUINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! They will lie to you and steal your hard earned money - by my experience. I will be contacting an attorney, BBB and anywhere else I can to stop this so others don't end up like us!
