We ordered a tablet from Eglobal Electronics on Thanksgiving Day. We received a response immediately that item would ship shortly. The following Wednesday we received a call stating that we would have to also purchase a battery for $30 because the tablet only had a demo battery in it. We stated this was wrong and was not anywhere in the advertisement. They proceeded to negotiate the the price of the battery. We said we didn't want it. We have sent a dozen emails and made at least 10 calls to get to a real person to state that we didn't want the tablet and that they are misleading consumers. The only response was that this item has been processed and most recently shipped (2 days ago, nearly a month later), despite our repeated attempts to talk to someone about this. We spoke with the bank and they told us to close our account and reopen a new one, so we wouldn't be charged. Eglobal has shipped the item through regular postal mail; we will return it immediately. This has been a nightmare. Who can we contact to file a formal complaint?
