Josh Levy of Capstone Realty Investments (not legal to operate in Colorado) contacted me today via email in response to an ad I have on the Internet to sell Colorado real estate I own. This is the 2nd time he has contacted me. He posed as a buyer each time. I responded to his email and answered his questions. He followed up shortly thereafter telling me he buys real estate and to go to a website to provide specific information. RED FLAG. The website address provided does not work, but automatically is forwarded to another website. His email address does NOT match either of the websites.
This person operates under 3 different company names and websites. None are legal to operate in Colorado.
I recommend you contact your state attorney general office to file a formal complaint if you are contacted by any of the following:

We also received email from Josh Levy asking for more info and photos of our home. He did not address us by name, nor did he say anything about our exact address in Tennessee. I wrote him back asking what physical address he had listed for us. He wrote back and never mentioned our address, he only directed us to log on to: http://apogee-properties.com
I wrote him back again and said "Hi Josh... Thanks for replying. We have several investments, so, let me ask
you again..... What is the exact address of the property you're interested in? And where/how did you find the property? Once I receive your reply, I'll be able to log on to http://apogee-properties.com. Thanks.... Jim We did not receive any more email from him.
We wrote to the following websites and said their names were associated with Mr. Levy on his site: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected];(Same as listed by Bill above in December, 2011) and [email protected]
We are waiting for replies, and will post what they say. -

I just received an email today from Josh Levy. Here is a copy/paste below. Note the time sent on the email. Being on the East coast Josh got up pretty early to look for real estate. Or is he really working late in Nigeria. (Thanks to the other posted and to scambook.com in helping people to protect them self's to scams.)

I also received an email today, 8/9/12 (BEWARE - SCAM ALERT!!!) from Josh Levy of apogee-investors.com:
"Hello,
I am wondering if your property is still for sale? If so, could I tour the place sometime in the next week?
Which direction does the front of the house face?
