Thanks for this site! I almost got scammed into wireing $300 to somebody in Italy for an iphone 4s that I would never recieve. Responded to Orange County craigslist ad and was contacted by a person who identified herself as Lindsey Clifton and said she lived in Vancouver, and therefore wasn't able to meet in person. She tried to convince me to use vanc-parcelforce.com as a third party escrow service, and was almost fooled beacuse there is a legitimate company called parcelforce.com (with a wikipedia page and all). The warnings of Craigslist not to wire money and not to use Western Union made me think. I punched in parcelforce.com and there was no notion of wiring money at all. Only then I saw the link Lindsey had sent me was different: vanc-parcelforce. I tried to track my package on the real site, and nothing came up. On the link in the notice I got from the fake parcelforce, it popped up immediately! Then I found this site and read that somebody else was scammed by this SAME lady... only I was to send the money to Nicholas Lowmon, in Italy. So I'm really disappointed not to get my iphone, but really relieved I didn't pay yet. BEWARE!
