I was bidding on a kendle, and noticed that certain names would get to the 'going once' before I would bid. Others, including mine would only get to the 5 second count before these same "chosen" names would bid again. I know that these names were scams or working for the company to prevent the true bidders from getting the prize. I actually got to the 'going twice' only by accident when one of their members wasn't quick enough to block my win. At that point, my computer stopped short of declaring sold, and flashed up that my last bid was too late. I didn't make another bid. And guess who the system flashed up as the bid winner---one of the fake names!!!!!!
