I received three texts back to back from 602-06 saying:
Text 1: Imagine My Crush billed @ $9.99/mo 3msgs/wk For HELP call 18668611606 Msg&Data Rates May Apply Reply HELP for help Enter password on website to continue: 9686
Text 2: (came seconds after 1st) Welcome to Imagine My Crush! For HELP call 18668611606 $9.99/mo for 3msgs/wk. Reply HELP for help, Reply STOP to cancel. Msg$Data Rates May Apply
Text 3: (came seconds after 3rd) If you find yourself wishing you had your friends lover, you need to be careful. you don't want to lose a love and a friend. For HELP call 18668611606
I called the number and was presented with 3 options to press 1,2, or 3 for Problems, Billing or other. I pressed 1 and the call was quickly picked up by a woman with an Indian accent. I told her I received these texts and I did not authorize any charges or reply to any of these texts. She told me she would cancel my subscription and I shouldn't receive any further charges. I asked if I had already been charged and she said she couldn't tell me. I asked her companys name and she told me they were Mobile Media Productions. I asked for an address and she said they are headquartered in Boston. I asked for the address and she said she was not allowed to tell me that information. I asked her where she was calling from and she replied "I'm in Boston", so I asked her what state Boston is located in and she could not tell me. She then hung up.
I called back and tried pressing option 2 and got another agent who ran through the same process as above and still refused to answer any questions beyond what they had already said. I asked for a supervisor and was told "we don't have supervisors here" and then hung up.
I called back at least five more times and received the same exact scenario but with different people. All but one had an indian accent with indian sounding names. The only one who did not refused to tell me her name but told me that she was in a call center in Canada. No one I talked to could tell me if I had been charged or even what this service was for. They did want my personal information in order to "cancel my subscription" which I refused to give them without speaking to a supervisor. Each time I was told that they could send an Email to the "parent company" who they are handleing the "cancelation line" for them. Odd part was, I didn't call a "cancelation line" according to their phone options, I was calling a "billing questions and other help".
A friend of mine did some digging on the internet and said he found that Bune LLC is the "parent company". Here is what he found:
