I had replied to an email about a home for rent. Weeks leater, I had a reply from a guy named Scott Averitt. In the email he stated his name was Mitchell Cunningham and that he was currently in West Africa. I told him that I would not send any personal information, however told him a little about myself. In the next email, he stated that he was in Nigeria and also at the end of the message stated that his name was Scott Averitt. He said send me $700 for the deposit so he knows I am interested and he will send me the keys. I have never met this man and told him to call me, and never did, but would give me the keys to a home? He put down his number as +234-7062-62-0245 OR 011-234-706-26-20245 which I cannot call, So I know this is a scam. I am extremely upset that these types of people are out there that ruin it for everyone else. And who knows, he could be in the process of stealing my identity right now.
