Same as everyone else - ordered free samples and paid by card for postage. Just seen two payments £74.99 and £79.00 have been taken from my account - used number given by previous thread (sorry can't remember name) Got through to an American lady who has obviously been taking these sort of calls for some time. I asked why they had taken the money out without my consent and she replied that it was in the terms and conditions that if I didn't close my account (what bl**dy acount?) within the cooling off period they would charge me the amounts every month. Apparently I should have contacted them by the 16th Jan. After much ranting she has said she wil cancel the account so no further payments will be taken but they are only prepared to give me back half of my money - she did confirm the amount to be paid back and gave me a reference number for both and said it would be back in my acount within 6-10 days - I'm not holding my breath. She also said she will send me a confirmation e-mail that the account is now closed... again i'll not hold my breath. I did ask where she was based and she said America - I asked if trading standards in this country were aware of what they were doing and she quite smugly replied that yes they were aware. I said they had obviously covered their own a*ses and were confident of getting away with it and she just replied - well you did agree to the terms and conditions - When/where? If I get half back I think I will be very lucky - try yourselves - it may work - the number is 08081683684. Will also wait to see how much the call will cost me. Am now off to look up the word gullible in the dictionary!
