A woman going by "Alice Hoke" called to tell me that I could rent out my Hilton Grand Vacation Club points each year to companies such as Coca-Cola and the like who rent people's points to use for corporate retreats or employee rewards. I could list my points which equated to over 4 weeks per year for $1700.00 per week that would be paid by the companies by check directly to me. The only cost to me was a one time $850.00 registration and listing fee to cover the advertising expenses to list the "property".
After having my husband speak with her as well to get his take, we went ahead and signed up and authorized the payment on our credit card. A week or so later I received a call from HGVC and asked them about this service that we had bought into and we were informed that it was a scam.
