Scambook.com (Deal Fun Inc.)

After reading similar testimonials on the scambook.com website (enter Deal Fun Inc. in search box) concerning the unprofessional work practices of Deal Fun Inc, I regret that I, as well, have become yet another victim.

My story is as follows;
January 6, 2012
Purchased and paid by MasterCard for two 7 inch android tablets.

January 12, 2012
URGENT request to check the status of 2 items; two 7 inch android tablets. $84.00 CDN and $71.00 CDN which were ordered and paid for by Mastercard on January 6th, 2012. Reason for the request:- one item was in process and the other had no status. The two tablets were purchased for upcoming Birthday gifts.

I was told that certain orders are split but to check status on website. Request had been received and was being reviewed by support staff.

January 13, 2012
Deal Fun requested more account information

January 14, 2012
After still trying to use the tracking system, I am told my user name was invalid.

January 18, 2012
I answered Dealfun’s request for more information even though all was given in order for my MasterCard to have been charged for both items on January 6, 2012.

January 19, 2012
Told that one of the purchases was being processed but the second tablet information was being investigated by the shipping department, and that I would be notified shortly regarding its’ status.

Becoming very disheartened with such unnecessary anxiety. I requested reimbursement and told them I was going to take the complaint further.

January 24, 2012
I requested immediate reimbursement once again and was told to follow the link for tracking. When trying to do so I could not pull up my account. The MY ACCOUNT tab on the home website page had disappeared. I tried various things to try to uncover my account to no avail. I was told my e-mail, which I had been communicating with since the onset, was invalid and there was no record of it in their database.

Their reply was by generic letter that the request had been received and was being reviewed by the support staff and that they do their best to answer all emails within one hour……..etc.

Another reply from them on the 24th apologising for technical difficulties and they gave me a temporary password. As well the case was escalated to the shipping department to look into and that I should have an answer within 24 hours.

January 27, 2012
As a very disappointed customer I wrote to request immediate reimbursement once again.

I was reimbursed for one of the tablets.

January 30, 2012
I received an email with a very confusing explanation on how the auction system works.

I wrote to say that I wanted immediate reimbursement and that I was going to write the Better Business Bureau in Los Angeles and to the Deal Fun testimonial section.

Their reply was another generic letter.

February 1, 2012
I notified them that I was aware of one item reimbursement but that I was compiling a complaint to be sent to the BBB in Los Angeles, Deal Fun testimonials, and scambook.com (Deal Fun Inc.).

February 4, 2012

Since I have not heard a word I have compiled the above and am forwarding it to BBB, Deal Fun Inc., and scambook.com.

I trust the above will add credence to the business practices of Deal Fun Inc.

Regards,

Heather Allen
