I saw an ad that said "199.00 can allow you to move in a house without down payment." I was actually looking for a home to but or rent-to-own.I called a gentleman answered and explain everything he wanted me to hear. I asked how I could browse the site and he told me that only after I paid than I will be allowed to browse their site. I paid the money and he explained the term and condition and left out the important parts just to entrap me. I trusted what he said didnot thoroughly go through the terms and condition because it was a whole lot. I clicked "agreed" and after I enter the website, everything looked blur. I called back in less than two hours to cancel, the person I spoke to told me that I had to wait for three months before the money is given back to me. After three months period, they now decided to show me the clause that says:
1. Requests for refunds will be accepted after 90 days by certified mail. The request must include at least 5 denial letters from the homeowners you have contacted through AmericanStandardOnline.com

2. The Company has, to its sole satisfaction, verified that the delivered Service was materially deficient in providing the Service as stated in its Service Description on the Web Site at the time of Purchase.

3. The verified deficiencies of the delivered Service were not caused by events outside the control of the Company such as slow internet connections, weather, etc.

This company is a scam and I want to believe that I am not the only one.
I will like to have my money back.
