I was sent a letter staing I had won 9700.00 sweepstake. I was sent a check in the amount of 995.00 and told to call a number to verify recieving the check. I was then instructed that I was able to cash or deposit the check. That day I deposited the check into my account and waited until the next day to see if it cleared. The following day, the check had cleared and I was instructed to buy a money pak in the amount of 920.00 for the taxes. I did as instructed and gave the reference number and activation number to the person which I had been in contact with throughout this ordeal, and she said it would be held for taxes. She the informed me I would recieve a final check in the amount of 8700.00 the next day per Fed Ex. No check was recieved and the money in my account from the previous check had been resended. The money pak had been activated also. I called her several times without success.
