I was sent a few text messages reading that I had been enrolled in some kind of "Gossip Text Alerts" and that I would be charged unless I prompted out. I DID prompt out by replying STOP, but the charges showed up on my phone bill anyway. In fact, I had TWO charges from this same company, for 9.99 each.
I contacted T-Mobile and they refunded the charges. I have also filed a complaint with the FTC.
