I received a phone call the end of May from Luxury Property Management asking if we were interested in selling some of our Cozumel vacation points. This company apparently finds deals for large companies to offer to there employees. We have a lot of points so yes we were interested in getting $2000 a point. Emma Hernandez was our agent. We would get $40,000 for 20 points. She e-mailed us a contract to look over. We had 72 hours to decide. I remember she called on a Friday.... we couldn't verify anything over the weekend. After agreeing this sounded good she said Elizabeth from the closing company would call us. The call came and we were informed we would have to send documents to verify we owned the "property". Faxed that. Then Emma called to say we had to pay $8,800 to Mexico to prepay our user fees. The company would reimburse us all monies spent in doing so. I said we couldn't do that because we didn't have that kind of money available. she would have to talk to Elizabeth to see what could be done to help us. Could we do half as many points? we said that would work. Could I get a cash advance? I did for $4400, she e-mail where to send a wire to in Mexico. After it was sent she called back & said Mexico now wants the taxes paid before closing. She told me "this is new they never did that before" .... the fair trade act... So I had to send $3800 again. When all was done the phone calls stopped. I left messages for 10 days before geting a call. Emma said that they had been busy with closings. The last call I got form Elizabeth was on July 22 at 6:29 pm to call her Monday. On Monday none of the phones worked. Elizabeth had a Colorado number, Emma had a Texas number. The call on Friday from Elizabeth was a Louisianna number. I called to Cozumel just to check and was tlod it was a scam. The property didn't have any client records on the property. Transair World Corporation had been handling all the transactions for vacations until March 2011. They stopped because of new management on site in Cozumel & alot of unhappy members. I sent both an e-mail on Monday 7-25-11 that said I want my money back & we will get you. Elizabeth called 7-25-11 about 6pm & left a message... what ever issues you have can be resolved, we don't need emails like that. I left a message on 7-26-11 on the Colorado number saying I want my money back. No response. I just tried the Louisanna number... the person at 5000 is unavailable please leave a message. Colorado goes to messages. HELP
