  • after you have contacted the above go to your bank and quote BCOBS 5.1.11 this means the bank have to prove you authorised this payment if they cant then they should give you your money back if they wont play ball then tell them you want to make it a formal complaint and they have eight weeks to resolve this matter i will have my money back in my account by 5pm and the other £67.70 when your-money.tv take it the bank will will take it back we didnt have to make it formal halifax gave it back it dont matter who you bank with they all follow the same rules

  • They may have your bank details but definitely not your authorization. This is how they do it, first you probably visited this web site looking for information about a loan. The first thing you see is happy smiling old lady saying what a great company! How helpful they were in getting her a loan!
So okay lets take a look at this at what's on offer, you click apply and you get the next page. Right at the top of the page it said "CCJS? BAD CREDIT ? NO PROBLEM! NO CREDIT CHECK! NO UP FRONT FEES! Sounds good so you fill in your details because the form requires this and you tell them how much benefit you receive and what day you get it on.
So you have filled in the first page you feel okay about it because it stated at the beginning of the form "NO UP FRONT FEES" then you push proceed, oh dear you cant proceed because you have not ticked the terms and conditions box, now you know that this is bound to be a long document and hey what's the problem it stated at the start of the form "NO UP FRONT FEES" so you tick the box, but if you had read them it would say in condition 5 Membership fee " A one of joining fee of £69.95 is payable in all cases. On submission of your membership application you will be automatically charged to your debit/credit card that you provided and authorised on application.
I would go to the bank and say this is fraud it definitely states no up front fees on the form.
I would make it a formal complaint and have it treated as fraud, a brokerage fee is a fee! Lets be honest here the banks don't want this to stop because they get to charge you £25 to £35 every-time you go overdrawn, they are loving this.
When you make your fraud allegation ask them for information on how much money the banks made in charges with companies like this.Do they think this is morally or ethically and even legally sound business practise. As I have posted the Halifax took two lots of £67.70 it took me a loud voice in the bank and my ex had her money back. FIGHT BACK!
