On 11/8/11, using the Yellow Pages, I called AAA Appliance Service, whose add offered a $30 discount. The repair man arrived and said he happened to have the fan motor ('Avopere.....'? motor) that I needed to repair my then noisy 1981ish Whirlpool refrigerator. He charged me $448.12 for less than an hour's work: $150 for the part, $13.12 tax, and $285 for his labor which seems quite excessive. He never mentioned the $30 discount to me.
