100% theft. Dealfun is a scam company making money through fraud. I was shopping online and an ad came up for dealfun that said they had sold a wii, xbox, and playstation for a small amount ($40 or so). I clicked through the ad and was presented with a page listing several of these systems currently going for $20 or so with an auction end in a few minutes. Thinking I might get one for my nephew, I decided to bid on one. When I did, I had to enter my information including credit card (makes sense, right? Otherwise how would I bid?). Once they had my information I was taken to the main site where there were none of these units up for bid or anything I would want.

The next day i saw a bill for $70 on my account. They claim you are charged for the "right" to bid ("bid credits" in their scam language) whether you bid or not.

Do not ever do business with these thieves. By the way Dealfun, I haven't forgotten, your on the list.

  • Hi John, This is Chris from dealfun support. Noticed your comments here and wanted to try and clear any misunderstanding there may have been.

    a) We do have various products that are up for auction at various times of the day, including the ones listed above.

    b) When signing up, we clearly disclose the amount that will be charged to your account. In fact, you are even required to select the bid pack before entering in your credit card details. Please see screenshot: http://cl.ly/3g1E3K10391t023e0W17. Kindly do let us know if you did not see the above.

    c) In addition, we also display an invoice page clearly after the transaction and send an email receipt for the purchase. Please do let us know if you did not receive them.

We believe in going the extra mile for our customers and would like to request you to email us at support @ dealfun . com (without the spaces) and we are sure we can resolve your problem to the fullest of your satisfaction. Sincerely!

  • I spoke with your representative on the phone, Chris. She informed me that the computer says an email was sent requesting information in order to process a refund. However, no email ever arrived at that address or in the spam folder.

She informed me that I can only get the form one time and since it has been sent, that's it. Also, she said the bank called and that the refund "had failed" (no reason given) and there is no recourse.

You guys really go the extra mile ... straight to jail, criminal.

  • By the way a .ly domain is Libya.

I don't think you will get many people to click your Libyan link, scammer.

  • Hi John, I'm sorry but it does not sound like our company at all. We do not send any form. Did you email us? Kindly let us know what email address you used and I will have someone get in touch with you right away! I'm pretty sure you have the wrong company above as we do not send any forms for refund and do not have a .ly (Libya) domain either. Sincerely!

  • Hi Sherry, Surely we could call him, that is not a problem at all :) However, I doubt it would be a good idea for John to share his phone number over a public forum. If John could email us we can surely call him :)

    Sincerely,

    Customer Support Team
