We were cold called by Royal Members and offered to buy our time share in Cozumel for $18,840.00. We were sent an initial offer by email and have now received an official offer . Marcus D'silva recorded a verbal contract phone call wanting us to sign the contract and send it to him by email. we questioned why we had to pay a transfer fee for 1824.00 and he explained because it was a mexican gov. requirement and that the unamed purchaser would remiburse our fee in final payment of our sale for a total 20,842. We then were called by Mr. Ross of Ryan and Ross Finnancial Holdings a fast talker who tried to distract us from the concerns we had by making small talk conversation and saying the faster we get this done the faster we'll get our money.
We both told ourselves this was too good to be true so we looked up this scam website to find others have also been dupped. website created 02/01/2012
The telephone numbers are all the same as the others
Royal Members 775-996-5730 Reno Nevada and Ross gave a Savannah Georgia number of 912-349-9376.
Glad I looked up this site before we got sucked in . We have reported this scam to tthe RCMP in Canada.
