I joined deal fun because I had seen quite a bit of television current affairs promoting it as a good value & fun site that could allow the bidders to win many different products at great prices. As pensioner, I though that it may allow me to have a better chance at getting some things for my kids that I would not be able to afford at retail prices so I bought a $99 Aus dollar package thinking that it would be a reasonable cost for some of the items I wanted to bid on, eg Kindle, tablet etc. I became ill only a few days later so I was not able to go onto the site for some time & sadly, to my distress, I have now found that the site is not listing any auctions & it looks like i have lost my money after not even having a chance to bid. For me, $100 is a lot of money & not only do I feel very foolish, I feel angry that there is no policing of such sites to protect innocent folk like myself that give folk the benefit of the doubt. It is the first time I have ever done this & it will be the last. I understand that one should use jurist prudence, I guess I thought that if current affairs programs were willing to run a story on this site that it may well be a better option that just googleing penny auctions & making a stab in the dark. I had hoped that at 43 I would not be easily scammed but I guess i have to hang my head in shame that I wasted my precious money trying to get somethings for my kids that are just out of my means. Dealfun.com has well & truly had a deal done but not in my favour. This site has soured my perception for all auction sites & I certainly will not be caught out again. Lets hope someone can track the bastards down who have most certainly made a killing off good decent folk giving them custom, & they ripping those good folk off, simply because they can!
