I won a coffee maker for £11.17 inclusive of postage in early Feb 2012. When doing the payment procedure it was made clear to them that i dont have a credit card and i was told that it will be no problem and they took the amount off my debit card. I made a chat conversation with them after 3 weeks following up for my won item and they said that it will be posted to my address but until today not received the won item. Today 16th of March 2012, i got my bank statement and to my astonishment they also deducted £59.99 so i contacted them thru the chat on line. I was informed that i was entered into their platinum contract on the first time i won with their free bid. This is for a 3 months contract at that amount. I demanded an explanation as there was nothing on their auction site to suggest that i was entering into a contract they then said i could cancell and it would cost me £28.00 for cancellation. I enquired for my coffee maker i was told that i would not be receiving it. Asking a refund for it again i was told that there would be no refund. I have instructed by bank to stop any further funds being transferred to Ziinga.com. I consider this penny auction site to be nothing but a SCAMM! So anyone visiting that site BEWARE not to even think of bidding as you will be RIPPED OFF.
