Back in October 2011, our HSE Manager received a call from Yellow Pages. Our HSE manager listened to a conversation leading him to believe that our company owed Yellow Pages money. They asked him for verification of our address, and if he was authorized to recieve the invoice and he said he was. Months later, we get hit with a bill with interest, demanding that we pay now or it's going to collections. In the first place, our company has no need for advertising in the Yellow Pages because we work 90% with the government. Yellow Pages constantly calls us and ask us, and we tell them NO. We got scammed into something we shouldn't have. Then we were asked if we wanted them to put us on the National Do Not Call List. This is a free listing, offered by the FTC. I think he was trying to SCAM us again!
