Further to my report on 1 April, more money taken from my account. Have cancelled credit card and reported everything to Queensland Police. For Australians, the Federal Police only investigate crimes against the Commonwealth. This is viewed as community policing which comes under your State Police Force. There is not much that can be done - these companies cannot be shut down by our police forces because they are in another country. Surely there needs to be somekind of policy of law enforcement co-operation between countries that covers this type of thing. I have returned the 2 jars that arrived unannounced with a letter requesting a return of now just over $500AU. I will take a copy of this letter to my bank and ask them to try and get the money back. Apparently that's about all you can do. NB The package the last jar came in had 2 return addresses - 1 in Salt Lake City and 1 in Sweden. Took a punt and returned it to the USA address. Won't hold my breath for a reply. Has anyone had any luck with a refund??
