Richard M Weeks ([email protected]) falsely advertised an apartment available for rent through Zillow.com. He supplied a rental application and an official signed lease along with official addendums to the lease asking for additional fees that were required for building security access, pet fee, and association fees. Once those payments were made via wire transfer he asked for more rent up front due to family issues, once that was done and agreed in writing that no more requests for rent would be asked. He emailed one last time on 3/26 asking if any more money could be sent, the answer was no and that was the last communication from this man.

  • I was almost duped by Richard M. Weeks as he posted an apartment rental in LA. The rental agency said that it was a scam. As I communicated with Mr. Weeks it became apparent that he was simply looking for a wire transfer of funds. A complete scam. I have his phone number and address near Syracuse, NY. he should be arrested.
