Well spoken knowlegable man with Indian accent called to give me the very good news that i have received my no application grant of $8,500.00 from the fed reserve. They already had my name, age, address. So naturally they had phished or received previously phished data sold to them from other sources. In order to receive my grant check or direct deposit they didnt want my bank acct or credit card they wanted me to purchase an Amazon card and deposit $230.00 for the clerical work to process. He was very adament to purchase this Amazon card and when i said i have an Amazon card already why do i need to buy another card and put $230 on it. He said that will confirm your ID and pay for the clerical and processing fees. By now his tone has changed and he kept saying i will write down you will deny this grant and you will receive nothing. So i then was frustrated and clearly if the US Gov. is gonna send me a grant they will send me the check by mail to my address on file. The check will be from a U.S. treasury dept. If there are any processing fees or clerical fees they will send the check less the fees. So in short to all people out there if someone asks you to pay them $ to receive $ and they wont get off the line until you receive it they are a scam. If you want a grant just apply for it and pay nothing! Im guessing if i was inclined to pay the first $230 they would only say "we got one here tell them we need more $ til they catch on" Again if you are wanting to receive grants just apply for them and dont pay $ to receive $.
