Deceptive advertising scam. I ordered the $4.95 'starter kit' as described in the on-line ad. On 1/7/13 Optima charged $4.95 to my credit card and I received the package via USPS on 1/13/13. The "starter kit" (which was printed on the box lid)consisted of 1 battery, 1 USB charger, and one cartridge in a plastic 'pack', plus 1 box of 5 cartridges. Today, 1/25/13, a charge by Optima for $116.93 was posted to my credit card. I had NOT authorized a charge for this amount. I called my bank card services and reported the unauthorized charge. They told me to contact Optima and seek resolution and if I wasn't satisfied with their response, call bank card services again and they would effect resolution. Kevin at Optima tried to work every angle in their bag of tricks attempting to convince me there was no error on their part and that their goal was to improve the public's health. I kept reminding him that his comments were doing nothing to resolve the purpose of my call and the issue of my complaint - which was an unauthorized charge to my credit card - for which I was not responsible due to their deceptive advertising. After 10 minutes of discussion and feeble 'excuses' and him asking me to hold while he talked to his supervisor, I hung up. I immediately called bank card services, described the situation and was granted a disputed unauthorized charge confirmation effective in 2 business days.

I do like the Optima product I received better than two other e-cigs I've tried, but would not purchase further Optima products due to their scamming advertising deception.
