I helped a friend buy from Macy,s in June,2012. She showed me the receipts for $124. but when I received the statement from Macy's it is $174. Nevertheless, I said to myself, the friend may've made a mistake. When I called the collection dept. they insist that it uis $174. AND PROMISED TO mail the statements again. I did received it and paid the whole amount of $174. through my bank. I always pay my bills through my computer. I received another statement saying that since it is a late payment I have to p[ay interest. I went to Macy's store in Valencia and the Filipino supervisor, said, just pay $30.00 for that late payment, So I paid $30. in cash to Miriam Makelin, the supervisor of the day. To this date, Macy's is still charging me every month interest after interest, and this is making me very intimidated and harrassed. Please help me.
I am going to the bank right now to get statements aabout my cash payment.
