United DTC (Direct to Consumer) is actually Mutual of Omaha (MOO) Life Insurance company. MOO offers a Medicare Supplement plan to seniors which requires a monthly debit from the senior's bank account for payment. Once the Medicare Supplement is in place, MOO then markets life insurance policies to these seniors over the phone. All that is required to sign up for the life policy is a "voice approval". MOO then begins debiting the same account for the monthly life premium. MOO only sends the senior one copy of the life policy with no further contact. Obvious intent is for the senior to pay for a policy UP TO AGE 100. MOO obviously hopes the senior forgets about the policy and therefore MOO never has to make a death benefit payment. It is reprehensible to target seniors in this way just bc you have their bank account information for the Medicare Supplement.
